Alec’s Respite Getaway to Nelson Bay

Alec accessed respite through Social Connections to enjoy a break to Nelson Bay. Before his stay Alec had the opportunity with his Support Worker, Will to plan out his ideal weekend away.

During his stay Alec was able to participate in all the activities he enjoys the most. Spending time at the local skate park, playing a friendly game of bowling and challenging Will to some gaming action. Alec took the opportunity to explore some of the local bush walking tracks and visit the local pub for a meal.

This getaway is really important to Alec and his family and he really looks forward to this regular overnight stay.
